How does it work?

WesTel‘s On-line Tracking Product package provides customers with a turnkey vehicle tracking and management system. The product takes advantage of WesTel’s Inertial Tracking System (ITS) technology, Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, and combines them with cellular communications and transmission of location information to provide real-time display of vehicle location wherever cellular service is available.

The web-enabled software includes the ability to display or transmit vehicle position coordinates in real time via the Internet to any terminal devices or any mobile devices you specify. Transmission can be automatic or on demand. The software allows you to specify periodic sending of location coordinates. Optional mapping software is included for detailed GIS information such as street level maps, location of restaurant, etc...
