NorthVoice Communication Inc. -- an advanced VoIP network

WesTel provided business and technical consultancy services for NorthVoice Communications Inc. based in Vancouver, Canada including business development, network design and implementation using the latest VoIP technology developed from Lucent. NorthVoice Communications Inc. was building the world's largest single owned state-of-the-art Voice over Internet (VoIP) telephone network. The initial phase roll out was in the continental U.S.A. which required a total of 50 network hubs across the country. Various locations in Asia and Europe were included in Phase II roll out plan providing a low cost long distance telephone service around the globe. NorthVoice planed to offer its customers international telephone-to-telephone and PC-to-telephone long distance services using Internet Protocol (IP) with a variety of services and various fixed monthly pricing plans. The services were designed to meet the long distance needs of both residential and business customers. NorthVoice service also included conventional low cost international long distance.
