China MicroWave System

A point to point direct link microwave system has been designed and installed for a China telecommunication company providing voice and data transmission. The microwave system uses the P-Com's Tel-Link Radio system, operating at 15GHz frequency, to provide a cost-effective and immediate solution to data communication link with 16E1 capacity over a distance of 13km. The most challenging design was that both the outdoor unit and the indoor unit including their antennas must be installed inside the building and yet meeting the required transmission distance. WesTel has designed the system to meet with this demanding requirements for the customer.
